Across Japan, there are places that were once tea fields. Slopes that were terraced rice paddies, fields and mountains where medicinal herbs were gathered—lands where human hands have withdrawn, and they have begun to quietly sleep.
HITARU began by turning its attention to these abandoned cultivated lands and utilizing the tea and wild plants growing there naturally.
